District Nurse - Registered

Due to a growing demand for our services, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Registered Nurse within our District Nursing team.

Let's talk about the role:
As an integral member of the District Nursing team, the RN is responsible for the provision of quality nursing care to clients in their home or in a clinic-based setting. Our focus is to improve or maintain clients' health and well-being and to assist in meeting the health needs of the community.
The RN may also be required to be involved in Group programs and Nurse-led Specialty Clinics within the community, independently or with Medical Practitioners and Allied health professionals.
The incumbent is required to work within their scope of practice across multiple Nexus work sites. Some weekend and out-of-hours work will be required as per a monthly roster.
Let's talk about you:
You have formal relevant tertiary qualifications, are registered with AHPRA, and have current immunisation certificates.
You have current clinical nursing experience in 3 or more of the following areas - Aged Care, Palliative Care, Continence, Diabetes, Dementia, Paediatrics, Cardiac Health, Chronic Disease Management, or Wound Management, within a Community setting.
You have a genuine commitment to the Nexus values and standard of care and have a client-centred, strengths-based approach to empowering clients and their families
