About the opportunity

Community Support and Domestic Assistance Workers provide client support in order to empower clients with disabilities and frail aged clients to lead fulfilling lives according to their own wishes. Providing quality, practical, efficient, and effective services to clients include but is not limited to personal care assistance, respite care, and domestic assistance. Use of your own vehicle is required.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong commitment to working from an empowerment perspective, promoting the client's independence, skill development, and self-advocacy.

If you are currently completing your qualification or interested in helping the community you can come onboard as a Domestic Assistance Worker to gain valuable insight and experience in the field.

Community Support Worker positions

  • Certificate III in Home & Community Care, Aged Care, Disability or Individual Support (essential). Applicants with progress towards the Cert III qualification may also be considered.
  • First Aid/CPR
  • Available for a minimum 25-hours per week, which may include early mornings, late afternoons, and some weekends. Penalty rates apply as per the Award.
  • Current drivers licence and registered vehicle

Domestic Assistance positions

  • Relevant experience in the home and community sector is desirable but not essential.
  • You must be available for a minimum of three days per week / 15 hours per week, 9am to 3pm.
  • Current drivers licence and registered vehicle
