About the role:

As a Community Support Administration Assistant, you will be a crucial link between our Community Support Team and our clients. You'll work within the frameworks of the Home and Community Care (HACC) program, the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP), and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), with the goal of maintaining individual's abilities to live at home and in our community. To ensure seamless service provision, efficient administration, and exceptional support for those in need. Your role will encompass rostering, communication, documentation, and maintaining the high standards of service that Nexus is known for. This position is 3 days per week, Wednesday - Friday.

To be successful in this role, you will meet the following Selection Criteria:

  • Previous administration experience, ideally within HACC, CHSP, or NDIS programs would be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in IT, including software like Microsoft Office applications. Bonus if you have used applications such as City Manager, Ezitracker, and Trakcare.
  • Strong administrative skills and a track record of excellence.
  • Understanding of working with diverse communities.
  • Vaccinated for yearly Influenza.
  • Current worker validations (Police check, drivers' licence, WWCC, NDIS worker screening check).
